Your adventure to Barbuda Day Tour departs on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 6:30 a.m. from St. John’s Harbour. Please note that there are no tours on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, or Sundays.

Upon arrival in Barbuda, you will take a 25-minute taxi ride to catch a small boat to your first destination – The Frigate Bird Sanctuary. As you make your way to the sanctuary, you will spot the historic Martello Tower.

The Frigate Bird Sanctuary is the largest and most magnificent in the Western Hemisphere. This sanctuary can only be accessed by small boats with a knowledgeable tour guide. You will enjoy the drumming sound of the Frigate Birds and keep an eye out for any turtles. After the bird sanctuary, your next stop will be a quick visit to the Pink Sand beach. Please be aware that pink sand is seasonal and dependent on sea conditions. This part of the tour will take approximately 1.5 hours.

Upon your return across the lagoon to Codrington Village, you will take a short 20-minute taxi ride to the open Caves at Two Foot Bay National Park.

Lunch Options Include: 

• Fresh Barbudan lobster with a garlic/lemon sauce (US$10.00 extra) – Not available from May 1st to June 30th during Lobster Mating Season
• Fresh Barbudan ‘Catch of the day’ with a creole sauce
• Grilled Barbecue chicken
• Vegetarian – Curried chickpeas or sauteed tofu with coconut basmati rice and garden salad
